*** Please note that the pole vault, long jump and triple jump were not conducted in the Conference Championships before 1993, because Farmingdale did not have the facilities. In 1993, the county switched to Stony Brook, which did have these events. Farmingdale was a 10 lap track, no spikes allowed. Stony Brook was a 9 lap track, spikes were allowed in championship meets. Suffolk CC – Brentwood is an 8 lap track, no spikes, with all the jumps.
(Small School Records including the previous Conference 2 results originally complied by Steve Borbet (Bay Shore) in 1986. The records were updated by Kurt Pasler through 2004. The county went from Conference Championships to Large & Small School Championships in 1993).
